Thrive is not for everyone. Thrive is for you if you are bursting with an idea, if you can barely live with yourself because you can’t get out of your head. Thrive is for you if you are busy. You have not started. You are stuck in your wanting. You are wrestling the lizard brain.
Thrive is not for you if you believe in prediction, if you expect that the future is going to be like the past, if you are waiting for the instruction manual, if you’d rather stay in your head – where it’s safe, but nothing happens.
Thrive is a workshop for getting started. It is about you “poking the box.” It is a structure, a community, a tool focused on making sure you thrive.
No one is saying that your idea will make you either rich or famous. We are not saying that after 10 weeks you will be ready to give up your day job. We are saying that it’s time for you to start – because starting is how you get there, wherever it is that you really want to go. It’s the connection economy, there is a niche for you somewhere, and Thrive is how you will find it.
What we are saying is that you’ll start and that you will learn to keep on starting, to keep poking, to keep testing, learning, moving, creating. We will take your idea from your head into the world, you will take your first “smart step,” and learn enough to take the next.
Trying to push yourself all by yourself, getting yourself psyched, talking about it endlessly, punishing yourself - none of it seems to work.
And that’s why we’ve put Thrive together. Because something has to work.
